Order size is the one variable this account does not price. The Raw+ commission is charged at $3.50 per lot per side, so a ticket costs precisely what its lot count says and that rate neither improves nor worsens as the ticket grows. According to FxPro, Raw+ shows spreads from 0.0 pips on major pairs and carries the cost in that commission line rather than in a wider spread, while the Standard account has no separate commission but wider all-in spreads. What size does reach is the fill: our execution test sent real market orders on the Raw+ feed at three different order sizes and reports each of them on its own row, so you can see where the fill matched the click and where the two parted company, instead of reading one blended average. Raw+ runs on MetaTrader 4, and a similar raw-pricing model is available on cTrader.

What Raw+ actually delivers (measured)

What the Raw+ account actually delivered when we measured it on FxPro’s own MT5 feed:

Order sizeCommission (Raw+)
0.01 lot$4.00 per side
0.1 lot$3.50 per side
1.0 lot$3.50 per side

FxPro Raw+ at a glance

What the measured fills did as size went up

The execution test placed real market orders on the Raw+ account at three different sizes and timed each one, and the results are kept separate by size on purpose. A single blended average would answer the wrong question: what a scaling trader needs to know is not the mean fill across everything, but whether the numbers on the largest tested row look like the numbers on the smallest one.

Read that way, the table says two things. Speeds sat in the same narrow band at every tested size, and slippage was the exception rather than the rule — it appeared on one pair, at the top of the tested range, and not below it. The sample is small by design, three round trips per size on a demo Raw+ feed, so it is a shape rather than a promise. The full table sits on our trading conditions page.

Where a position stops being one order

Size on this account is bounded and quantised: a 0.01-lot floor, 0.01-lot steps and a 500-lot ceiling for a single order, with 100,000 units of an FX major behind each standard lot. Between the floor and the ceiling an intended position always lands on the nearest step, which on a large ticket is a real amount of exposure rather than a rounding detail.

Above the ceiling the position changes character. One ticket receives one price; a sequence of tickets receives several, and the terminal shows their weighted average as the open price of the position. That average is what every later result is measured against, so it belongs in the plan before the first ticket rather than in the review afterwards.

The size band this was actually tested at

Everything on this page about behaviour rather than pricing comes from three order sizes, three round trips each, on FxPro's own demo Raw+ feed. Within that band the readings are consistent: speeds clustered together, no failures, and slippage that showed up on one pair at one size. The largest size in the test is a long way below the 500-lot ceiling the specification allows.

Outside the tested band there is nothing to report, and saying so is more useful than extrapolating. A trader whose usual ticket is far larger than the top of that band should treat the table as evidence about the account's pricing model — a fixed rate per lot per side, no size tiers — rather than as evidence about the fills their own size will receive.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Raw+ commission get better on a larger ticket?
No. It is $3.50 per lot per side — $7.00 round turn — charged per lot, so it grows in exact step with the order and never dilutes. Size changes the total bill, not the rate behind it.
How did Raw+ fills behave as the order size went up?
The measured execution table keeps the tested sizes apart rather than averaging them. On the deepest majors the fill matched the quoted price at every size tested; on one pair the fill and the click parted company only at the largest size. Three round trips per size — indicative of the shape, not a service level.
Were there rejects or unfilled orders at the larger sizes?
None were recorded in the test: every round trip completed at each of the tested sizes. The test ran on a demo Raw+ feed at those sizes only, so it says nothing about tickets far above them.
What is the largest single order Raw+ allows?
The measured contract specs allow a 500-lot maximum and a 0.01-lot minimum in 0.01-lot steps, with one standard lot at 100,000 units on an FX major.
What happens to a position that needs more than the 500-lot ceiling?
It becomes a sequence of orders rather than one, and the open price shown in the terminal is then the weighted average of the fills behind it instead of a single quoted price. Nothing in the pricing changes — the rate is per lot however many tickets carry them.
Does the 0.01-lot step matter on a large position?
Every order lands on a 0.01-lot step, so an intended 3.336 lots becomes 3.33 or 3.34. On a small position that is invisible; on a large one each step is a fixed piece of extra or missing exposure, so it is worth deciding in advance which way you round.

What traders report

Six reviewers, and the argument between them is really about which account to be on. Three make the case for paying a fixed $3.50 per side to get near-zero spreads, one adding that the raw pricing looked built for forex majors, while a longer-timeframe trader says spread width has never affected him and he stays on Standard. Two push back for different reasons, one wanting the spreads lower before he gives a full five and the other reporting that the mobile app keeps losing his drawings and indicators, so cost and tooling are separate complaints here.

I gotta agree with the opinion that commission based trading is better for lower timeframe trading styles.Fxpro is not only provides zero spread accounts, but also charges only $3.5 per side-B)

For me a Standard account is the best with this brocker. I mostly trade on H4-D and even W timeframes. Therefore, for me spreads or to be exact, how wide they are, has never been important. I didn’t test it cuz I trust my friend’s feedback. It was a good tip and I already benefit from the broker.

Solid option for forex traders. 0 spreads on a raw account, plus a not expensive $3.5 fee, wasn’t bad at all, for my wallet. Seemed to be exclusive for forex, luck for me, cuz I trade only majors.

Wow, time flies. 💸 I just got a notification from FxPro that I hit 100 trades, and it was like yesterday when I started trading on this platform. If you reduce the spreads, I’ll give you 5 stars 😂
